Walking Update – Week 12, 2018

Following you will find an update on my walking statistics for week 12 of 2018. The update covers the dates Monday 19th of March to Sunday 25th of March.

Stepping Numbers

I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.

First up is the highest day for the week which was Wednesday with a total of 21,708 steps. While the lowest day was Saturday with a total of 15,085 steps.

I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 122,792 steps. Giving me an average of 17,541 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 1,368,430 steps for the year to date.

This Time Last Year

Looking back to Week 12 of 2017, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 114,957 steps with an average of 16,422 steps per day. The highest day was 18,232 and the lowest day was 15,605. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 12, 2017.

Other Thoughts

I spent most of the week away this week, which is definitely the reason for some of those big days walking this week. I spent time in three beautiful Queensland locations, Noosa, Mooloolaba & Caloundra. The first stop though was Noosa and there were a few walks along this lovely river.

The 15,000 steps per day streak is still going well and is at 196 days so far. Next week should be the 200-day mark and halfway to my 400-day goal.
