Walking Update – Week 26, 2017

Stepping Numbers
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Saturday with a total of 17,872 steps. While the lowest day was Sunday with a total of 15,301 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 115,524 steps. Giving me an average of 6,503 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 3,162,536 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 26 of 2016, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 119,514 steps with an average of 17,073 steps per day. The highest day was 20,081 and the lowest day was 15,715. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 26, 2016.
Other Thoughts
Friday brings with it the end of June and that means it is time for a few extra numbers. The month of June saw me walk a total of 507,133 steps with an average of 16,904 steps per day. The highest day for steps was the 2nd of June with 22,249 steps. While the lowest day was on the 15th of June with just 15,017 steps.
There was a significant drop in my average steps from the last month of almost 2,300 per day on average. I am going to need to change this a little bit if I want any chance of making my 6.5 million step goal for the year.
The streak is still going well and this week I reached 295 days in a row, walking 15,000 steps per day.
