Following you will find an update on my walking statistics for week 30 of 2017. The update covers the dates Monday 24th of July to Sunday 30th of July.
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Saturday with a total of 19,091 steps. While the lowest day was Wednesday with a total of 15,099 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 116,120 steps. Giving me an average of 16,588 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 3,638,824 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 30 of 2016, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 126,540 steps with an average of 18,077 steps per day. The highest day was 20,819 and the lowest day was 16,060. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 30, 2016.
It was in this week two years ago that I first made the change to my daily walking target. The exact date this year was Sunday last week, but it was in Week 30, 2015 that I first set out on the journey to walk 15,000 steps a day. At the time I set the goal for just one month but soon extended that to aim for one year.
In the end, I made it to 392 days on that attempt, but of course, now I am trying again to make it to 400 days in a row. As of the end of this week, I have now made it to 323 days in a row, doing the 15,000 steps per day.
