Following you will find an update on my walking statistics for week 40 of 2017. The update covers the dates Monday 2nd of October to Sunday 8th of October.
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Thursday with a total of 22,386 steps. While the lowest day was Tuesday with a total of 15,109 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 121,947 steps. Giving me an average of 17,421 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 4,819,687 steps for the year to date.

On Wednesday this week, I took a little time to visit an area called Mount Tamborine, Queensland. The area is located just to the west of Queensland’s Gold Coast and is a beautiful mountain top setting.
One of the great spots up here is the Botanical Gardens. It is a great spot to wander through some of the pathways and explore the different garden areas they have. The photo here is from the Japanese Garden area, which is rather small but quite nice.
I have almost made it to the end of the first month on my new streak to walk 15,000 steps per day for 400-days. I am currently at 28 days and counting.
