Walking Update – Week 3, 2018

Stepping Numbers
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Sunday with a total of 19,700 steps. While the lowest day was Wednesday with a total of 15,104 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 112,923 steps. Giving me an average of 16,131 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 343,736 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 3 of 2017, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 123,416 steps with an average of 17,630 steps per day. The highest day was 21,211 and the lowest day was 15,574. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 3, 2017.
Other Thoughts
Last year I kind of missed the mark with my step goal for the year. So with the new year, I want to start off back on the same goal. That is by the end of the year I would like to have recorded 6.5 million steps for 2018. I will have to try and ensure that I get a little bit more walking in week to week to make it this time.
The 15,000 steps per day streak is still going well and this week comes to 133 days in a row.
