Walking Update – Week 25, 2018

Stepping Numbers
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Wednesday with a total of 18,841 steps. While the lowest day was Monday with a total of 15,117 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 116,691 steps. Giving me an average of 16,708 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 2,918,033 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 25 of 2017, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 113,869 steps with an average of 16,267 steps per day. The highest day was 19,245 and the lowest day was 15,311. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 25, 2017.
Other Thoughts
We are almost halfway through 2018, and so far to date I have not had any sign of beating any records. While I am glad to see that I have not got any more low records, I thought maybe I could have worked on getting a new high record, for either day, week or month. But I suppose with some of the numbers I would be working towards any sort of high record might require some planning ahead.
The streak is still going well and this week reaches 287 days in a row walking 15,000 steps.
