Stepping Numbers

I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.

First up is the highest day for the week which was Tuesday with a total of 19,290 steps. While the lowest day was Thursday with a total of 15,126 steps.

I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 118,273 steps. Giving me an average of 16,896 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 5,343,681 steps for the year to date.

This Time Last Year

Looking back to Week 45 of 2017, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 118,778 steps with an average of 16,969 steps per day. The highest day was 19,279 and the lowest day was 15,324. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 45, 2017.

Other Thoughts

Over the past two weeks, I have had a big problem with my fitness tracker. In total there were about six days that that incomplete or no data. In this instance, I have taken some steps in contacting support. But that option is looking even worse. Because it is a data transfer issue, they say may be nothing wrong with the device and would be a fee if that is the case. Plus on top of that, I would need to send it to them and be without the tracker for who knows how long.

It has come good again for the moment so I will wait it out and see if it plays up again. But again I am thankful for my iPhone which also tracks the steps, at least I have a data source to work with.

The streak to walk 15,000 steps a day is still going well and now reaches to 427 days in a row.
