Stepping Numbers
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Sunday with a total of 20,930 steps. While the lowest day was Wednesday with a total of 15,361 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 119,555 steps. Giving me an average of 17,079 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 4,743,988 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 38 of 2015, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 119,424 steps with an average of 17,060 steps per day. The highest day was 20,643 and the lowest day was 15,137. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 38, 2015.
Other Thoughts
It is amazing sometimes just how close two weeks that a year apart could get. Week 38, this year and last year recorded a difference of just 131 steps for the week. There was quite a bit of difference between the individual days but they still come in somewhat close to each other in the end.
The new streak is still on track for the second week. So this now brings me up to 15 days in a row walking 15,000 steps a day.
