Stepping Numbers
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Saturday with a total of 19,474 steps. While the lowest day was Monday with a total of 15,286 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 116,629 steps. Giving me an average of 16,661 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 1,823,925 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 16 of 2017, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 118,954 steps with an average of 16,993 steps per day. The highest day was 19,351 and the lowest day was 15,127. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 16, 2017.
Other Thoughts
I don’t have much to share about the walking itself today, but thought I would share something about my snacks. Often when walking a lot in the day you do get a little hungry between meals. So one thing that I do instead of grabbing junk food to fill the gap is to prepare a small snack box. The box has a mixture of dried fruit, nuts and seeds in and is a great way to get a little energy boost.
The streak is now up to 224 days in a row, walking 15,000 steps or more per day.
