Following you will find an update on my walking statistics for week 43 of 2019. The update covers the dates Monday 21st of October to Sunday 27th of October.
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Tuesday with a total of 19,919 steps. While the lowest day was Friday with a total of 16,315 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 123,150 steps. Giving me an average of 17,592 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 4,992,539 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 43 of 2018, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 117,174 steps with an average of 16,739 steps per day. The highest day was 19,754 and the lowest day was 15,082. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 43, 2018.
Next week it looks like I will be passing my fifth milestone for the year. However, coming up on November there is a bit bigger milestone coming up as well. That bigger milestone is 30 million recorded steps. As a result, I have probably walked a few more steps this week then if I did not have this milestone coming up.
I have in many ways had to work quite hard to get to the target some days this week. But even once I made the target I did end up walking that bit extra to try and get my target sooner. Actually it is not so much that I want to get there sooner but I need to maintain a little higher average to stay on target.
At this point as long as I maintain my average daily steps I am looking at achieving the milestone around the 25th of November. The average that I need to maintain is around 16,700 steps per day. Which is the average of all the steps recorded over the number of days I have been tracking. But anyway that is still about a month away.
Nothing else too interesting to talk about this week. As next week is the end of the month and that smaller milestone. So have a good week walking and will update again next week.
