Stepping Numbers

I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.

First up is the highest day for the week which was Saturday with a total of 17,166 steps. While the lowest day was Thursday with a total of 15,084 steps.

I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 112,508 steps. Giving me an average of 16,072 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 5,513,449 steps for the year to date.

This Time Last Year

Looking back to Week 46 of 2016, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 123,067 steps with an average of 17,581 steps per day. The highest day was 20,259 and the lowest day was 15,372. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 46, 2016.

Other Thoughts

There is not a whole lot to share today about the last week. But maybe I do have one more picture from the last morning of my trip returning north from Canberra. We choose to stay in Narrabri for the last night, but that would still leave just over 600km for the last day of driving. But it is always easier to handle a big drive day when you are heading home.

But first things first I decided to take a walk and explore Narrabri a little. My walk first brought me to this lovely creek which runs through Narrabri.

I have kept the streak going this week and made it to 70 days in a row walking 15,000 steps a day.
