Following you will find an update on my walking statistics for week 26 of 2019. The update covers the dates Monday 24th of June to Sunday 30th of June.
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Saturday with a total of 17,893 steps. While the lowest day was Tuesday with a total of 15,311 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 110,864 steps. Giving me an average of 15,837 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 3,002,127 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 26 of 2018, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 113,278 steps with an average of 16,182 steps per day. The highest day was 17,544 and the lowest day was 15,103. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 26, 2018.
There are a few things to discuss and come to mind this week it seems. First up is the end of June on Sunday, followed by the milestone. But then some of the numbers stood out with the proximity and coincidence this week and last week as well.
I walked a total of 492,348 steps in the month of June with a daily average of 16,412 steps per day. The highest day for walking was the 8th of June with 19,557 steps. While the lowest day for walking was the 7th of June with 14,356 steps. There is one of those coincidences right there with the high and low day for the month on consecutive days.
The third milestone for the year also came this week, with the passing of 3 million steps. Again the week aligned with the same milestone from last year.
I noticed a little coincidence between the steps from the past two weeks. There are two days with the same step count of 15,311 each week. They were just four days apart, and that day this week was followed by just 15,312 steps. It is not only this but the first occurrence os 15,311 is in week 25, 2019 I looked back and see that Week 25, 2017 has the same low step day of 15,311 steps. At times it just blows me away how some of these things just happen as they do.
