Following you will find an update on my walking statistics for week 30 of 2016. The update covers the dates Monday 25th of July to Sunday 31st of July.
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Wednesday with a total of 20,819 steps. While the lowest day was Monday with a total of 16,060 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 126,540 steps. Giving me an average of 18,077 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 3,783,148 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 30 of 2015, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 116,586 steps with an average of 16,655 steps per day. The highest day was 19,133 and the lowest day was 13,983. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 30, 2015.
It was week 30 last year on a Thursday that I made the decision I would pursue a goal of walking 15,000 steps a day. I achieved a full year of walking that 15,000 steps a day last week. However, looking back at last year I could have started the streak a few days earlier except for one day that I walked less than 14,000 steps.
This week also brings up the end of July, so a couple of extra numbers to cover the month. I walked a total of 541,591 steps in July which averages out to 17,471 steps per day across the month.
The streak is still ongoing now that I have passed the year mark and has now reached 375 days in a row walking 15,000 steps a day.
