Following you will find an update on my walking statistics for week 1 of 2018. The update covers the dates Monday 1st of January to Sunday 7th of January.
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Thursday with a total of 17,712 steps. While the lowest day was Friday with a total of 15,039 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 112,590 steps. Giving me an average of 16,084 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 112,590 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 1 of 2017, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 117,959 steps with an average of 16,851 steps per day. The highest day was 18,489 and the lowest day was 15040. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 1, 2017.
I thought it might be interesting to keep up the trend that I started last year and share a little overview of last years high and low step days. It was an interesting insight to see just where the high and low days concentrate.
When it comes to the high step days that were most common on a Saturday, followed by a Tuesday. I was a little surprised to see such a low number of days for Monday. While when it comes to low step days they come in even on Monday and Thursday. You can see the full spread of both high and low days across the week below.
The 15,000 steps per day streak is still going well and is now at 119 days in a row.
