Walking Update – Week 4, 2017

Following you will find an update on my walking statistics for week 4 of 2017. The update covers the dates Monday 23rd of January to Sunday 29th of January.

Stepping Numbers

I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.

First up is the highest day for the week which was Sunday with a total of 16,951 steps. While the lowest day was Tuesday with a total of 15,090 steps.

I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 112,073 steps. Giving me an average of 16,010 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 484,917 steps for the year to date.

This Time Last Year

Looking back to Week 4 of 2016, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 118,391 steps with an average of 16,913 steps per day. The highest day was 19,896 and the lowest day was 15,088. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 4, 2016.

Other Thoughts

I took some time this week to bring some of the weekly and monthly stats together for each of the past two years. It is nice to be able to look at the individual weeks, in these weekly posts. The streak is still going well and I have now reached 141 days towards my 400-day goal of walking 15,000 steps per day.
